Becky’s research interests include identifying predictors of wellbeing and psychopathology in young people, exploring areas of/ and reasons for disparity and adversity; and taking a public health approach to facilitating the improvement of people’s lifelong mental health outcomes. During her PhD she researched predictors of wellbeing and psychopathology in sexual minority adolescents in the UK. She is conversant in advanced quantitative and qualitative methodologies and has worked with large cohort data (i.e. Millennium Cohort Study). Becky is now working with Bangor University, Public Health Wales and the World Health Organisation Collaborating Centre on Investment for Health and Wellbeing – as an Adverse Childhood Experiences Research Officer.
